📊 RATINGS SUMMARY
| Category | Rating | Notes (optional but encouraged) |
|---|---|---|
| Overall Condition | ⭐⭐⭐☆ (7/10) | The course was a little muddy in places but based on the amount of rain we had had in the days before it was not in too bad a condition. |
| Difficulty | ⭐⭐⭐ ☆ (7/10) | Not an extremely difficult course but undulation changes assist to raise the difficulty level slightly. |
| Tee Condition | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (7/10) | Some were very muddy but all were well grassed. |
| Fairway Condition | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (7/10) | Some drainage issues but in general for this time of year they were ok. |
| Green Condition | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (7/10) | Stopping the ball and consistent throughout the round. |
| Bunker Condition | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/10) | Many GUR due to weather and in general not kept as well as they could be, tough in winter though. |
| Clubhouse/ Bar & Food | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (6/10) | Welcoming club house but unfortunately the chef was out sick and the snacks were limited to fried options, no visible menu for those. No food on offer until after 9am. |
| Pro Shop Experience | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (9/10) | Very welcoming, helpful and warm, even at 8am. |
| Value for Money | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (8/10) | For a weekend on a busy course the green fees are ok. |
Would you play here again?
✅ Yes
It is reasonably close to me, public access and overall, not a bad course for a weekday round.
📝 THE REVIEW
First Impressions & Standout Features
It was cold! The place looked great, it was green, well kept, sadly the rain we had had meant you could see a few muddy areas down fairways.
The wildlife on this course is a standout. So many Kangaroos and native birds every where.
Best Holes or Memorable Moments
Some nice par 3's with good elevation changes and water hazards like 8, 12 and 16. I really like the stretch 13, 14 and 15 where I chipped in for birdie - this part of the course was a lot dryer as well.
The par 5 7th and 12th are nice holes as is the par 4 9th. The 1st is a wide wide par 4 - good hole to start on and I really like the 18th as a finishing hole. Playing it of the back you need to make a decision, precision, big hit over the water or lay-up and I really like the way it comes home towards a nice looking clubhouse.
I love the bell you ring on 7 to tell the group behind it is safe for them to hit.
💬 General comments or suggestions
A busy course, hard to get on a lot of the times but a pretty course. A couple more ball washers on the course for me please.
