Conditions at Time of Play: We walked the course. It was a winter round, a couple of insignificant showers during the day. Mainly overcast with some sunny breaks.
It was 14 degrees C and extremely windy in places on the course. Greens were very soft but running decently, fairways, bunkers and tee boxes all in great condition.
⭐ Overall Rating
Eynesbury Golf is one of those courses that is just really enjoyable. A long course, but set up well for all grades of golf.
Appropriately set out with good landing areas of the tee for all levels of golfers. The greens welcome your shots and hold the balls and despite being damp they did roll fairly true. Plenty of bunkers but also plenty of room to avoid them if you feel taking them on is too difficult.
An interesting location and well worth the drive to get out there with the old homestead a magnificent backdrop to the clubrooms, pro-shop, bar and restaurant on-site.

📊 RATINGS SUMMARY
| Category | Rating | Notes (optional but encouraged) |
|---|---|---|
| Overall Condition | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (8/10) | Very very good. The soft feeling of the greens was the only drawback of this course. I can fault nothing else with it. |
| Difficulty | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ☆(9/10) | A long course that was playing into the wind quite a bit on the majority of holes. |
| Tee Condition | ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (9/10) | No issues with the tee boxes, they were in good condition. |
| Fairway Condition | ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (9/10) | All fairways were in great condition. A few slightly muddy areas but in the middle of winter you would actually expect more. Very playable. |
| Green Condition | ⭐⭐⭐☆ (7/10) |
The greens ran well. Balls stuck on them. They just seemed to be carrying a lot of water meaning there was an over presence of foot prints and spike marks around the holes. Again, it is winter, but it was a little too noticeable. Numerous unrepaired pitch marks on greens. |
| Bunker Condition | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (8/10) | Well maintained and good condition. |
| Clubhouse/ Bar & Food | - (0/10) | Did not visit |
| Pro Shop Experience | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (8/10) | Friendly and welcoming |
| Value for Money | ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (9/10) |
This is a championship course in good condition and I think the price of the green fees is very good. They do also have special offers and voucher with partners that means you can play for cheaper than we did. |

I love the challenge of this course. I love the Australian feeling of it and the setting is very nice.
📝 THE REVIEW
First Impressions & Standout Features
Great layout, tough but fair course. Plenty of natural contours. It is scattered through a housing estate which at times you notice but in general does not intrude on the course. Plenty of native flora and fauna with a number of kangaroos. rabbits and birdlife throughout the round keeping an eye on proceedings.
I think it is an old farm with old windmills, animal drinking troughs, sheds and the like scattered over the property. Well maintained and well worth the drive. A challenging but very enjoyable course playing almost 6,500m (7,108 yards) of the blue markers.
Best Holes or Memorable Moments
This course has many really enjoyable par 4's. Holes 12 and 13 are both up there with my favourites as is the 2nd and 17th.
Reaching the par 5 5th hole into the extreme wind in 3 shots was a definite highlight on the day.
