It was overcast for most of the day with cooler weather in the morning. We had had lots of rain the night before and in the week before this round. The course showed no signs of this draining very well. We walked the course.
⭐ Overall Rating
Lang Lang Golf Club is a true gem. I had heard great things about it but actually visiting and playing it, everything I had heard was nothing compared to the experience. The front 9 plays like a true Melbourne Sandbelt Course with the back 9 feeling more like a very well looked after country golf club. Well worth the drive.

The conditions of the course were so nice that despite not having a great round I would definitely play there again. Great set up and really good value for money.
📝 THE REVIEW
First Impressions & Standout Features
Set in a true Australiana environment with lovely native growth surrounding the course and Kangaroos and Wallabies welcoming us in the fog as we arrived the first thing I thought was why have I not played here before. I even had a kangaroo bound across the driveway in front of me as I entered the property.
Walking into the course it just looked so well manicured and kept and like I said above, made me feel like I was on a Melbourne Sandbelt course.
The bunkering on the front 9 especially was a treat, the way they sit on the holes and also remind you of sandbelt golf.
Best Holes or Memorable Moments
Standouts were the par 3's 5th and 9th on the front. I loved the longer 10th & 11th and the short dog legged 14th was a joy to play. Front 9 I think I rated higher than the back 9 with the uphill par 5 7th another lovely hole.
💬 General comments or suggestions
It is worth the hours drive from Melbourne and I can't wait to go back.
